Fall Equinox Ceremony
Ceremonial Cacao • Guided Reflection • Reiki • Sound
There comes a moment each year when the light begins to soften.
The days shorten. The air begins to change. The natural world slowly turns inward.
And for just a moment, at the Fall Equinox, day and night meet in balance.
This seasonal threshold offers us an invitation to do the same.
To pause between where we have been and where we are going.
To acknowledge what has grown.
To honor what has been harvested.
To gently release what we no longer need to carry into the season ahead.
Our Fall Equinox Ceremony is an intentionally held gathering created to honor this transition through ceremonial cacao, guided reflection, Reiki, sound, and deep rest.
Together, Elizabeth of Aligned Healing and Reiki practitioner Ray will create a space where you are invited to step away from the movement of everyday life and simply listen—to your body, your heart, the season, and whatever may be asking for your attention.
Honoring the Autumn Equinox
For generations, people have lived in relationship with the changing seasons.
Autumn has long represented harvest—not only the physical harvest of the earth, but the natural completion of a cycle.
Before we immediately begin preparing for what comes next, the equinox gives us an opportunity to look at what already exists.
What has grown in your life this year?
What have you learned?
What are you proud of?
What has reached completion?
And what are you continuing to carry simply because you haven't given yourself permission to put it down?
The Fall Equinox reminds us that release does not always have to be dramatic.
Nature doesn't apologize for letting go.
Leaves change. They fall. The earth becomes quieter.
Nothing has gone wrong.
The season has simply changed.
For this ceremony, we allow ourselves to enter that same rhythm.
Opening With Ceremonial Cacao
Our gathering will begin together with ceremonial cacao.
Cacao has been used ceremonially for generations as a way of gathering intentionally and creating space for connection and reflection.
Rather than rushing immediately into the experience, we'll take time to arrive.
To feel our feet beneath us.
To notice our breath.
To hold the warmth of the cacao in our hands and become present with ourselves and with the people sharing the room.
You will be guided into a gentle intention for the evening—not an intention rooted in becoming more, doing more, or manifesting the next thing, but in noticing what is already here.
What are you grateful for?
What has this season produced?
What are you ready to leave behind as you cross into another chapter?
Reiki + Sound
From there, the invitation becomes even simpler:
Rest.
You will settle into a comfortable position while Ray moves through the space offering Reiki and Elizabeth surrounds the room with an immersive sound journey.
Crystal and metal singing bowls, chimes, drum, flute, and other therapeutic instruments create layers of sound and vibration while Reiki offers another gentle layer of energetic support throughout the experience.
There is nothing you need to accomplish during this portion of the ceremony.
You don't need to meditate perfectly.
You don't need to force yourself to release something.
You don't need to have a spiritual revelation.
Your only responsibility is to receive.
Your body may soften.
Your mind may become quieter.
Emotions may surface.
You may experience clarity, spaciousness, deep relaxation—or you may simply enjoy being cared for.
There is room for all of it.
The Sacredness of Balance
The equinox is often spoken about as a celebration of balance.
But balance doesn't necessarily mean keeping every part of our lives perfectly equal.
Sometimes balance means recognizing that a season of outward movement has ended.
Sometimes it means doing less.
Resting more.
Creating boundaries.
Returning home.
Allowing ourselves to receive after spending months giving.
Autumn reminds us that there is wisdom in becoming quieter.
This ceremony is an opportunity to honor that wisdom before moving into the darker, slower months of the year.
Not by disappearing from your life.
But by asking what deserves to come with you.
And what doesn't.
Come Exactly As You Are
You do not need previous experience with Reiki, sound healing, cacao, meditation, or seasonal ceremony to attend.
There is no particular spiritual belief required.
You may experience the equinox as sacred, spiritual, symbolic, seasonal—or simply as an opportunity to intentionally mark the transition from summer into fall.
All are welcome.
Come carrying whatever this season has given you.
The beautiful things.
The difficult things.
The things you're still making sense of.
Together, we will create a little space between seasons to acknowledge it all.
To give thanks for what has grown.
To release what has completed its purpose.
And to enter autumn with a little more room to breathe.
